Biography
Brad Chilcote retired in 2019 after a career beginning in the military, continuing in information technology leadership, and ending as an entrepreneur providing career and business coaching. After continuing as a volunteer providing career and business coaching, he decided to reenter the workforce as an adjunct professor for Texas A&M University-Commerce; teaching an undergraduate online course in career counseling. Brad remains focused on building a legacy as a bridge builder (based on Will Allen Dromgoole’s poem) – building bridges for others to achieve success in their lives.
Brad serves on the Executive Advisory Board for the Children’s Coalition of Aransas County, as a volunteer for the Rockport-Fulton Chamber Business Builders Committee, and as a bridge officer for the Rockport Yacht Club. After graduating from Leadership Aransas County Class XXV, he also facilitates the program for current and future classes. Brad has a Master of Science in Counseling degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce and a Master of Business Administration degree from Oklahoma City University; and is certified as a coach, mentor, and instructor. He and his wife are active members of Hope Church in Rockport.
