Join us for our annual Brown Bag Lunch Lecture Seris and enjoy interesting and educational presentations! This is our longest running and highest attended free program at the Texas Maritime Museum and we appreciate your participation.
February 4: We'll hear from the Ph.D. student, Shannan McAskill, about how Hurricane Harvey affected plankton populations in the coastal bend.
February 11: Carra Miller, an associate attorney who represents shipowners, agents, and maritime employers at Welder Leshin in Corpus Christi, will speak about maritime law.
February 18: Kam Wagert, former board member of both the History Center and Maritime Museum, along with former director of the Texas Archaeological Society Pam Stranahan, will discuss Aransas County's history through postcards.
February 25: We will learn about invasive species from the program director of the University of Texas Maritime Science Institute, Sara Pelleteri.
